Antique Victorian English Porcelain Cabinet Plate with Green and Gilt Decoration, Pierced Rim

A beautiful antique English porcelain plate featuring an ornate green and gilt border, delicate floral decoration and a charming scalloped rim with pierced detailing. The centre is decorated with a colourful floral bouquet, while the surrounding border showcases rich emerald-green foliage, scrolling gilt accents and decorative motifs.

The pierced rim and elaborate hand-finished appearance give this piece the elegance associated with Victorian-era decorative tableware. Its soft ivory ground and aged patina make it a lovely addition to a traditional cabinet display or an antique china collection.

The reverse bears an orange-red painted number, possibly a pattern or decorator’s mark, but the maker has not yet been identified.
