Antique 8-inch decorative plate featuring two shorebirds along the water among marsh grasses. The plate has a beautiful scalloped rim with iridescent pale blue and pink tones that catch the light.
The maker may be T. A. McNicol Pottery Company of East Liverpool, Ohio, which operated in the early 20th century. The backstamp is partially obscured by the hanging hardware, so the attribution is tentative.
The glaze displays age-related crazing throughout. A charming antique piece for a bird-themed collection, cottage decor, or a decorative plate wall.
